Model Checker File Name Pattern

Hello!

I'm working on a custom check set file and I'd like to include a file name check, but the wizard option is very... lacking in information on how to set up the file name pattern.

I've popped in a few options and if I put in exactly my file name into the pattern area, of course I get a passing result. If I also put just the first 3 characters matching it works as well...

But this seems sort of restrictive. The file name has to match exactly? how can I use this generally on multiple files when there will be differences between file names per project, per discipline etc... I just want it to follow a pattern, sorta like the one in BIM 360 now, where you can define how many letters each section should be and a few key options...

Project Acronym _Discipline_Subdiscipline_Building_RevitVersion

Am I missing something easy or is this just not going to work the way I want it to?

The documentation around that check could use a little love. It's looking for a Regular Expression to match, just like the RegEx filters in the Advanced Checks.

I like using Regex101.com to build and test my regular expressions. Change your "Flavor" to .NET on the left to be sure it's 100% accurate.
