Mixed Schedules - Casework/Furniture/Plumbing fixtures

Hi all,

I'm a little stuck. Is it possible to have Casework/Furniture/Plumbing fixtures in a single schedule? It seems an obvious one but I can't seem to get my head around it.

Yes. Use a multicategory schedule.

Then from there you can put some filters and delete what you don't want in the schedule

I helped you to press Accept as solution on your question.

In addition to @Anonymous's solution, once Multi-Category Schedule has been created, and if you see any Category that you don't want in the schedule, you can filter them out.

I have tried to create a simple example. Here we want to remove the "Site" category in this schedule. Set the filter as the screenshot below. You can add more conditions in the same manner for the categories that you don't want.

Hi, All working great thanks for the help. The only issue I now have is that the filters aren't working. Any idea? I did change the name from "Multi Category Schedule" but I doubt that is the issue.

The problem seems to be you can't filter by family & type or category.

I'm sure it's right under my nose.

You can, for a starter, enter a note to the Comment field for all the
objects you want to include in the schedule. Then, edit the schedule, add
the Comment field, and Filter using Comment equal to the note above. Once
you are getting familiar with it, you will figure out some fields may work
better than others, depend on circumstances.

Thanks. It is a little frustrating that categories can't be filtered. I can't see the logic behind not allowing this.

It's a very large apartment tower... I'll keep this in mind next time I kick a project off. Retrospectively sorting this out will keep me busy...

If you have a lot of objects to be scheduled then Comment may not be the
best option to filter upon because it is an instance parameter. Use one of
the tyoe parameters, such as Type mark, type Comment, description, assembly
code/name, etc... instead. Foe example, add a special prefix to the Type
comment and filter with Type comment begin with that prefix.
