I was having the same problem; the pallets I usually keep open weren't showing up when I opened my Revit project. I tried the suggestions indicated here and they didn't work for me. I use a separate monitor with an HDMI cable and when I switched the 'main display' from my monitor to my laptop screen in my computer's display settings, it fixed the problem--the browser pallets showed up in Revit.

Thank you for your reply,

Is that mean I need to consider the second monitor as a main screen ?

I started in one multi-monitor scheme, moved to a different monitor arrangement, and lost some of my menus.  I solved this problem by switching to single-monitor, which brought the menus back. I wiggled them a little, switched back to multi-monitor, and voila! they stayed in the last place I moved them.

I'm a (recently) former ArchiCAD user.  AC had a phenomenal feature where multiple menu layouts could be saved into profiles.  Basically an interface profile manager.  It was a supremely handy feature: I was forever going between multi-screen work, single-screen work, and client presentations on a projector, and having these layouts stored saved me a ton of time.  Also helpful when I needed different sets of tools/windows for different stages of a project.

Is this the correct forum for suggesting new features?  😃

You may want to search the Revit Ideas forum, to see if anyone has already posted a similar idea and, if so, vote for it, or, if not, create a new idea for this.

Hello - when check the user interface is there a check in the check box next to the project browser? Can you post an image of what you are seeing? LD

If this helped solve your issue - remember to 'accept as solution' to help other find answers!
You can't think AutoCAD and run Revit.

I realize this is an old thread. But I have a similar issue with revit 2014.

Half of the properties pallete keeps disappearing. I use ctrl +1 to close it and reopen it with the same issue.

The only way to resolve it is to close revit down and open it back up again. This is only a temporary fix as it will happen within 5-10 minutes of opening a new session.

Can you please advise?

This seams like the problem I've been trying to figure out for years now. However, when I go into Display Settings, my laptop is already only detecting a single monitor. There is no option to reset. Do I have to be connected to my other monitors? Any advice?

If you're losing your mind like I was and have already done the View > User Interface > toggled the palettes on and off and still can't see them....     try this...
Go to your comp's display settings > Scale and layout > change the size from recommended to something small like 100% (I'm on a 4k monitor). If that works, then change it back. I was THIS close to installing Archicad.
