Missing Metric Adaptive Component.rft

Hi,

I'm looking into conceptual adaptive massing but in my metric templates folder (conceptual mass folder) I only have metric mass.rft. I don't have the Adaptive Component.rft?

Can this be downloaded from somewhere?

Thank you,

Mark

You can download the template file at the following link:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=14973523

The metric “Metric Adaptive Component.rft” is part of the “IntMetTempl.cab” cabinet file.

Thank you,

Thanks for the link. I now have the correct templates in place.

In trying to get to the bottom of this, I discovered that IT had configured Revit 2011 to look at the older 2010 templates! So it was on our servers all along, Revit was just looking in the wrong place.

Thank you again.

Which version of Revit are you looking to download content for?  The more recent versions can add \ remove features from the control panel.  Such as this example:

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/discussion/t5/Revit-Archit...

Additional information can be located here as well:

Revit 2015 | How do I add or remove content?

Let us know if this helps, thanks!

Maybe you're looking for the wrong name? In my Revit 2015 (imperial library), the name of that template is "Generic Model Adaptive", not "Adaptive Component". Or you can use the Revit 2014 version of this template, and use that as a start point. It's the same anyway.

Hi Alfredo,

Was because a videotutorial that was using Revit 2011, seems it no longer exists.

As you mentioned, Metric Model Adaptive worked pretty well (Metric library in my case)

Thanks!

Open the 2015 files in Revit 2016 and save them. They will work just fine.
