Make sure the plan view and the elevation views are under the same phase.

They are the same phase.

- Is the new floor plan the same level as the ones where the elevation tags show?  If they are from different levels, make sure the elevations extend to the new level.

- Make sure the elevation cut line is within the view crop region.

- Make sure the view has a scale larger than the elevation's "Hide at scales coarser than:" limit.

- Check Discipline of the floor plan and elevation views.

in Revit, if you create new view  - it shows only model elements (geometry, grids, model lines, etc)  but not annotations, such as dims.,  elevations, tags, text, lines etc.

So I see 2 option for you:

- you can just select required annotations and copy/paste then into new view

- you can create "duplicate with detailing" of previous view w/ annotations

Just had this happen to me - same phase and view template, crop regions doing what they're supposed to, etc etc. Those elevation tags were visible in the first Floor Plan, but lost in space in the 2nd Floor Plan.  Finally I lost my patience, cut my losses and created a new 2nd floor plan view. Guess what? Exactly the same settings, and the elevation tags popped right up!

Go figure......

Hey friends,

If you see the elevation tag symbol on your first floor plan, but not on higher levels; make sure the elevation is not cropped below those levels. You can check this by opening up the elevation view and then editing the crop.

Peace

Hey all, I'm having an issue with one side of the elevation tag not showing up.  Both elevations are in the same template (so nothing to do with hidden views coarser than..) and I have no phases in this project.

I've included a snap shot of the issue, as you can see with the check mark - the elevation exists it's just the tag I'm having issues with.

I too am experiencing this with Revit 2024.  I have my Construction Plan views for 1st and 2nd Floor with Exterior Elevations views on and tags visible.  I try and place an interior tag and I get the notification that the view exists but I cannot see it on my current view.  I check my Visibility Graphics, nothing is hidden.  I click the light bulb, no manual overrides.  I check Filters, View Ranges, Elevation Crop, Discipline, Scales... Nothing Works.  I create a new 1st or 2nd Floor View and there they are.
