Migrating MEP to Arch Linking

Hi everyone,

I am working with an architect and I am doing the MEP. I will mention that I now know I should have linked the Arch to my MEP. I drew some mechanical equipment in the arch file without making a link. I know we should have used collab etc. So I have now set up an MEP file. I have linked the arch. Now I want to take all my mechanical equipment from the old file and copy it into the new MEP file I created. How can I do this without breaking everything?

Thank you in advance

- Creating your new MEP file: in the old file, open a 3D view, activate visibility for all categories/disciplines, select all non-MEP elements (or not yours), delete them and save as a new file (your MEP model).

- Removing MEP form the old file: do the same the other way around, select all MEP elements, delete them and save as the new ARCH file.

In both models: purge unused elements and finally link one in each other.
