Microsoft Surface Studio 2 compatibility with Autocad & Revit

Any Idea about Microsoft Surface Studio 2 compatibility with Autocad & Revit? Surface Dial is not a big deal, I'm asking about graphic card issues and power of the gear itself? is't worth?

just look up the specs on the internet or read through the other threads that were given above

Big help (zero). There are no threads giving any information on this; also I am hoping AutoCAD would respond as the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 used in the Surface Studio 2 is 'not' on AutoCAD's recommended or certified graphics hardware list (only NVidia's Quadro Series is listed).

If you want someone that uses Autocad to respond then you need to post this on the Autocad forum....this is the Revit Forum.   Or did you mean Autodesk and not Autocad?

The GTX 1070 will run Revit and Autocad just fine.....but...while the Surface Studio 2 is an awesome setup, I question the cooling aspect when under load.  Very similar to a laptop without enough fans.

Steve - let's say I use revit since they put it on the market... but in the same way I draw so much by hand (watercolour, sketches, paint, digital…). When I saw this product (Surface Studio 2) I thought I could only use one device to do the two things ... I'm trying to understand if is a good product for both ...

Do you know more about Surface Studio 2 and Revit 2019 or newer?

I use revit since more than 9 years and Onenote sind it was included in Office.

I read the sound of the ventilator can be a problem.

Did you bought one?

I mostly like the monitor - the "all in one" form is not important to me.  In reading the very gear-headed reviews the picture painted by these wonks is alot of carping about the out of date processors yet amazing speed and beauty of the final product.  Bottom line is - why do power users like us need an all-in-one form factor?  give us a system with that phenomenal touch screen, "dial" and tools with a big-old box that sits on the floor - who cares.   In the middle of thinking all this and "woulding it be nice", the folks at Autodesk send me a promo showing smiling super-wonky insiders gathered around an "Autodesk" logo on a Microsoft Surface Studio 2.   Ha!

2 years later, my update is:  surface studio display and pen based interface, fantastic, but underpowered for larger revit project.   Mine has been retired from my desk on to other duties.

@steve, What do you think of the new surface studio laptop with intel core i7 for larger Revit project?

It is recommended for architects, designers and engineers on the Microsoft site and also for the use of Autocad, I do not read about Revit, however.
