Merging site plan view with main

I have received the output from a colleague which is the site plan view containing toposurface, building pad etc and I need to merge it into the main model that contains the floor plan views (level 1, level 2 etc) but does not have any site plan view.  The colleague's model (with the site plan) also contains the building but it is an old version.

I am used to Autocad where it's possible to copy and paste different layers but I can't find anything similar here in Revit

Is there any method to copy the work on the 'site plan' view into the main model? it is only the site view that has been changed as discussed there are no changes to any of the other views/floor plans

Thank you for helping 🙂

Link the Project into yours -  and bind it and ungroup it if you like.

....Linking will upgrade a Project, but Revit is not backwards-compatible. If both of you are working on the same Project, you should be on the same Version.

Thanks - linking them was the key - I had to delete all the similar elements using the project browser (it seems there is no way to delete all the walls and windows at once) and then link the project - to make the loading time easier  😁
