Hello, I am trying to do a render of an urban project I did for school and it is not using my system at all. Is there a way to increase my CPU power and RAM usage. In this screenshot I was rendering for about 45 minutes, no PNG's have accumulated in the sequence when they usually start to accumulate at 0%. CPU usage is at 7% and not even using it's full GHZ. The RAM usage is at 9%, which is about the highest it gets when rendering in Revit. There is a lot of geometry and components in the scene which is making it almost impossible to work within the file as well.
If anybody knows how to get Revit to utilize my whole machine, I would be incredibly grateful.
Thanks,
Colby
Hi @colbyroper
Try disabling Revit Add-ins if you've installed any recently and see if there is a difference. How to Disable Add-Ins for Revit Products
Also, check if you have Third party applications and services (that are running at the same time as Revit taking resources away from the system and potentially directly interfering with the program).
Let me know.

Hi @colbyroper
OK, so add-ins are ruled out. Just wondering if there are any other windows processes that may cause this slowdown?
Check the Windows Task Manager to monitor processes. If fbxooprender.exe is not using close to 99% of processor power, other active processes may be interfering with the rendering process. Shut down non-essential tasks to make more processor power available for the rendering process.
