Materials Dialog Box Doesn't work

When i try to change a material or access the Material Dialog Box, nothing happens. Have tried to repair the .msi files. All .adsklib files are also present. Tried to add paths in File>Options>Rendering. Have also tried to reinstall Revit 2018. Can anyone help?

From what i can gather, everything is present, it just doesn't want to work.

Thanks in advance! Cheers!

Janis

PS I'm running Revit 2018 Student version

Solved It!

The issue for me was with the graphics card. Disabling the graphics card in device manager and turning off hardware acceleration fixed the issue.

I too had this same problem, which only occurred after updating my Nvidia Driver last week. As suggested by Stewart Jex, I turned off Hardware Acceleration from within the Revit Options dialog, then re-started Revit. The Materials Dialog re-appeared. I went back into the Revit Options, and turned Hardware Acceleration back on, followed by another Revit re-start, & everything seems to be working correctly. Material Dialog works fine & hardware acceleration is on.
