Please see below picture and the attached rfa file. I'm using Revit 2016.
material properties show that the color is grey, it LOOKs like red, is it a bug?
You should be looking just at the appearance asset since this "problem" appears when in realistic mode.
Replace the appearance asset. Maybe the one that you re using is not working correctly.
