Material Keynotes in Reflected Ceiling Plans

Hi all,

We have been unable to use material keynotes to tag the underside of stairs in RCP's.

We have used the paint tool to apply various materials to stairs and were hoping to use material keynote tags so that they are legible in the RCP. The materials have been correctly assigned keynotes.

Although user keynotes does work in this scenario, it is not preferred. Does anyone know why material keynotes don't work for stairs in RCP's? This problem does not occur for 3D views or other families such as ceilings. It seems to be specific to stairs in RCP view. We have also experimented with the view range but to no avail.

Thanks in advance!

Stairs on RCP are not a true underside of the stairs per se.  You either use user keynotes, or place a ceiling there to host the material keynotes.

Thanks @ToanDN ! Agreed, it seems the alternatives are to model the stair underside finish (slightly tedious) or place user keynotes. However, it would be great to actually tag the stair's materials.
