Material image stretching

I am new to Revit and am experiencing the following problem with a table I imported from Sketchup. Note that I separated the model into several layers.

As you can see the the texture applied to the table legs is really stretched. I already tried many options in the material editor but cannot get it to show properly. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Are you not able to find the Material in the Browser?  It has to be there.  You need to Select it and modify its Appearance Tab Image/settings, or simply assign a different Revit Asset to it.  There are plenty of Assets that look similar.  

Let's have a look at it. Post the RVT with SKP in it.

I can find the asset but I cannot seem to get it showing correctly (no stretching). You can find my family file attached, I also inlcuded the SKP file in case it does not work, thanks for the help!

I'm not really sure what you mean by "stretching". The image being used is Tiled.  But, like I said, you can replace the image by picking another Appearance Asset to replace it.

I am looking for a way to use this same birch asset but have it not scale. Won't all the default assets behave like the birch one does for the table legs? (looks different than the table top, that is what I am trying to fix)

Maybe you can get there by Double-clicking on the Image and playing around with the settings in the Texture Editor.  

...you know, FWIW: you could build this family in Revit with a couple of minutes of work. You'll have much greater control applying materials afterwards.

I already did using position and scaling but cannot seem to get it right, will try to any combination now 😄
