Mass in place and Wall by face problems

hey,

im having some troubles using the in place mass. this is the first time im using rhino mass and use Wall by face command , and i have some questions

1. Interior walls wont join to the wall by face Walls generated from the mass in place.

2. im trying to add ceiling and the automatic ceiling command wont recognize the mass in place walls. how can i make accurate ceiling with that kind of model? (round and twisted).

3. how can i "cut" the floor with that Wall by face of the mass?

4. last question, i've joined the file, i have no idea why i cant add regular door to the first floor in the extrior wall.

thank you

It’s 5am and I’m on my phone, so I can’t test it out.

First: can you use join geometry to join the internal wall and the curve external wall? If can, extend the internal wall so the whole height of the wall join the external wall, then edit profile to pick the edge.

The second one: same, just draw a ceiling a bit bigger and use the join geometry tool, then edit boundary and pick the join line.

Third: the same.

Last:  don’t know. But if Dior doesn’t work, I will create a opening and put a normal wall with a door there.

Please test it out and tell me if it works or not.  Thanks very much.

Item #2:

- Add a level where your ceiling is

- Create Floor by face by select the mass and choose the ceiling level

- Create a ceiling by sketch and use pick line to pick the floor edge

- Delete or hide the floor

Thank you for your help

I got the ceiling and the walls joints right, everything worked.

The last problem is still the facade. the join geometry tool doesn't work, its still gets an error.

Maybe the curtain wall makes it more difficult.
