Masking region in tittle sheet family

Guys, we use the same tittle sheet for both commercial and residential projects (I don't know why).

Some items there being alternatively screen off by y/n fill region depending on scope of work, but it does not look so well, graphically.

In tittle sheet family, the masking region is available. We try to use it without success. Anyone knows why and how ?

Draw Detail Lines to define the perimeter of your Masking Region on the Sheet, Group it, Open a Model View and place an Instance of the Group, Draw a Solid White Filled Region by tracing over the Detail linework in the Group, Edit Group Add the Filled Region and finish and close out of Group Edit mode.  Go back to Sheet to see the results.

Depends on what you are masking over there maybe different solutions.

This seems like an odd way to go about title blocks, I would suggest using visibility parameters which you assign to things you want to turn on/off. Use a type parameter if you want to be able to turn a certain element off in all titleblocks at once, and use an instance parameter if you want to selectivly turn elements on/off between sheets.

To add an visibility parameter, just select the element and press the little box in the properties window after the second column (circled in image). A window pops up, press the new button in bottom left and set it up. You can probably also find a youtube video on how to do this step by step if that is more helpful.

If you use a type parameter, after you load the family into the project you turn the visibility on/off through the edit type window. If you use an instance parameter, the on/off option is in the properties window when you have the titleblock selected.

I must miss something.

I set the mask region to y/n but nothing happens, while the y/n hatch (old mask) still working...

I have a nice stretchable family to mask anything and everything on sheet but it is 2019 or 2022.  What version are you on?

Use a Solid White Filled Region.  Create one in a Generic Annotation Family. Add Instance Parameters to control Height and Width.  Load into Project and place on Sheet.
