Making Unused Section Marks Gray

Making Unused Section Marks Gray

Is there a relatively easy way to make the unused  section marks and Elevation Tags appear gray in our working views.  It would make it easier to deal with those items. I would rather not have to do it individually and then have to remember where I did it, If I end up putting some of them on sheets eventually.  I don't want to hide them, because then I forget they are there

How would I go about that?

Thank You

Create a View Filter for Sections, Elevations, (and Callouts if you want those too).  See screenshot.

We have used this filter, but we are having a issue with elevation tags once located on a sheet. The direction arrow turns black, but the circle, text, etc stay halftone. The section tags and callout tags are halftone when the views are not on a sheet and all turn back dark when placed on a sheet. Does anyone have the same problem with the elevations tags and know how to fix the problem?

Because one elevation label may host more than 1 elevation ( 4 directions). So, if not all of them placed on sheet, the label remains half toned. I will look into it later when I have Revit on hand.

This was tested with only one view used in the elevation and that view placed on a sheet. Only the body of the elevation remains halftone. Only the elevation pointer returns to 100%. We have tested this with out of the box Revit families and structural template.

I am having the same in issue for elevation views. Did you ever uncover a workaround to get the elevation view reference body to turn black instead of halftoned?
