I want to make the edge of canopy a little bite curved.

If it is a freeform then create a mass of the proper shape and create a wall by face picking the curved surface of the mass.

There's several different approaches. Are you in the planning stages of how to model the whole canopy, or do you have the canopy partially modeled?
