Hello,

When I place a low furniture in Revit ( that is selected from the French Revit Library - Mobilier > Cuisine> Meubles bas), a gap created between the hosted wall and the furniture. With the option 'Move' I cannot move the the furniture to be ajusted with the wall, I can move it only horizontal.

Any idea?

Thank you in advamce!

Don't use the Move command. Use Modify>>ALign.

I just noticed that in the familt there is a parameter Constrain FL and the value that it has is the value of the gab that I have.

Any idea what can I do?

Thank you!

Can you share a RVT that shows the behavior? Or at least the furniture family so that I am not just guessing?

Take a look at the attached file. When you manipulate the value of the instance parameter Space from Wall, then you will be able to align the casework to the wall (or move it away, as the case may be).

The problem is because the casework has been created as wall-based Furniture. To avoid (this is optional) - CTRL-C the geometry from this family, CTRL-V into a Casework family template (not wall-based), and constrain. But for the time being, your problem is solved.

after clicking on move, at the option bar, check disjoin & uncheck Constrain.

After checking the family I found a constrain added at plan view forcing the family to stay away of the wall by 100 mm.

inside the family, make that constrain/dimension =0 and lock it.

check attached screencast.

Insert the handle into the door facade family instead of placing it directly in the final cabinet family. That worked for me.

There is something in the family that the handle family does not like. I was able insert the handle family directly into the project and into the door family - both ways the handles showed up in the project.

And here's what it is - change your 3D view to Fine display. Or select the handle in the family. Go into its Visibility / Graphics Overrides.

1) Please see the attached project.

The only change that I have made is to change the display level from Medium to Fine.

2) Also - the fixed families

You can see the handles even when display is set to  medium
