LOST drawing on canvas

Hi

I created a sheet on my revit project file and included several elevations , 3d views and shcedules.

i was moving around zooming ans panning while adding one of the elevations and lost sight of the entire sheet. I can't find it at all.

i click on the project browser sheet but i don´t see it in the drawing space.

Is there any tool in revit that selects all the items pertinent to the view? of something that can help me locate the items? otherwise, i have to create a new sheet and do it all over again. which i find very inefficient !

Have you tried typed ZE (for Zoom Extents) to see if it shows up?

I take it the sheets and the associated views are showing up correctly in the project browser?

If you expand the sheet in the project browser and double click on one of the views that are listed there does it take you to a view that shows modelled content?

What might have happened is that you have placed a view on the sheet a long way from the sheet.

with your file saved trying deleting the views in the opposite order from which you placed them typing ZE each time you remove one and see if you get back to being able to see the sheet.  If this works, once you find the offending view you can undo your actions and then just remove the offending view itself and then place it again.

Is 'Remove from Sheet' available (about 4 lines above 'Delete')?

Very puzzling.  You could delete the sheet but the placed views would remain and should still be visible.

Sorry, don't know what else to suggest.

without actually seeing the file it can be difficult at times to isolate the specific problem.  It would have bee good to know what the problem was though in case it comes up again.
