Looking to change Section callouts to letters instead of numbers

Is it possible to change the section head to have a section letter label rather than a detail number label?  We want to keep the details number label for plan callouts and plan details, but want to change the sections to be letters.  I looked at creating a new parameter to do this but can't find a way to do so.  Would appreciate any help in doing this.  TIA

Which of these are you trying to change?

In any case, once they're placed on sheet look for "Detail number" in their properties and change it to what ever you want.

Oops, sorry, guess I should have been a little more clear about this.  We want the Sections to automatically be created with letters when placed on the sheets, and the details to automatically be created with numbers when placed on the sheet (this is what Revit does as a default for details and sections).  Essentially I am trying to figure out how to create that additional label for Section Letters for the items circled in red below:

Do you want to show detail number 1 on the sheet but letter B in the section mark?  That doesn't make a lot of sense because how can someone look at the section mark that says B / A301 and figure out he actually needs to look for detail 1 / A301.

No, he wants sections to be A, B, C... where ever they are, but automatically with letters instead of numbers.

Not possible I think, have to rename them manually.

If the question was simply how to change a detail from a number to a letter then it doesn't fit coming from a level 6 user.

I could be wrong so OP @btobias  needs to make it more clear.

Yes, as I understood from his reply he wants sections to be by letter, no numbers anywhere. Not on the sheet either. But to be "numbered" automatically with letters.

In response to all of the questions posed in the replies.....yes, we want building sections, wall sections and even section details on the plan where they are cut and then on the sheet where they are placed to be letters, and any plan callouts or plan details to be marked on the plan and on the sheet where they are placed to be numbers.  In my previous response I used the section cut with the number only as an example because that is the default in Revit to match the Detail Number parameter.  Is it possible to create a Section Letter Label parameter to do essentially the same thing as the Detail Number Label parameter shown in my example in that previous response?  Thanks once again.
