Looking for OTB UK detail components

Hello,

I am following a tutorial to draw my CMU courses according to as-built block sizing. The Coursing Lines in Plan and Sec detail components shown below are supposed to be in my Detail Items library, but I can't find them.

Does anybody know where to find these families or have a better suggestion for drawing CMU walls to half-block-increments?

Is this not something that is OTB from Autodesk? It isn't in the cloud components library.

Are you looking for 2D details for CMU.  If so, you can find them in the OOTB Library @\Detail Items\Div 04-Masonry\042200-Concrete Unit Masonry.  If none of those work for you, then create your own.  Rectangles are easy, breezy.  😉

AH! I think I know what you are looking for now! A Repeating Detail Type! Go to Annotation=>Component=>Repeating Detail Component and then select the Type through Properties Pallet.

It's a parametric ruler that basically grids out CMU blocks in whole and half increments with a mortar gap built in, so the nominal dimension is 4"x8"x16". This item is included with the UK library but apparently not US.

It shouldn't be too hard to build. Would the starting point be a line-based detail family? I just need it to tick off every 8 and 16 inches.

Did you see my edited post? I added information about Repeating Detail Component? I think this is what you are after.  No?

If you use them in a project you can find them in the project browser and then save as them in a folder that you want.
