Lockable Revit Family

Is it possible to lock a Revit Family so it can not be edited? Only saved-as?

 

My firm used Letter text for ceiling height designations, and I've created a ceiling tag with a formula to conform to the standard ceiling heights. However, this tag will need to modified for custom heights. When this modification is needed I don't want folks to save over the base tag, if they do try to save I just want a save-as situation.
