Load family in Revit 2018

When I choose "Insert"-->"Load family" in Revit 2018 Student Edition on Windows 10, the English folders under "Family Templates" are empty. Are they not installed as default?

This is what I see if I go to "File"-->"New"-->"Family". If I go to "Load family", there are no supported files (.rfa or .adsk). Is it not installed correctly then? The link you sent me was for Revit 2015-2017, but are there still installations files from the earlier programs that I should use to install the families?

you should follow this instruction on how to install your templates and libraries.

you cannot install from early version to latest version. you can copy the whole folder of templates and families but there will be an issue every time you load the family there will always be prompt message "the model is being upgrade" which i do not recommend.

try to open architectural template and see what happen

thanks
