I am starting a new job in a new country and my new company has a model already built. To navigate on it and to better knowledge it I would like to list all families and their types that there are in that project, as in a excel file, so I can translate (they are in language I am not familiar with) and then figure out better what is every part of the model.

- Create schedules and export to TXT.  Open TXT in Excel.

- Optional: Datalink each TXT file to a tab in an Excel file so that you have a file consisting all data.

- open Excel file with Google Sheets and you can add translations

Thank you for you answer. One more question, how can I list only one unit for type, can I do it in Revit, or filter in Excel?

Sort by Family Name then Type Name.  Uncheck Itemize Every Instance box.
