Linked view won't halftone

Hello,

In my main model I have a linked view of the surrounding site of the landscape architecture.

When I present the upper floors of the building (2nd floor onward) I'd like to show the linked site in halftone.

But though the "V/G Overrides RVT Links" option is not checked in my VT, and the link itself is checked as Halftone in the VG of the specific views - the link still shows in full colour and not halftone.

Any ideas?

Did you halftone it through VG or with display setting override? Also what are the settings for the latter? edit: was your intention to halftone the site's material?

I have halftones it via VG

When I chose the link in a specific view, under "Overrides Graphics in View" - By Category - there are no overrides, the visible option is checked and the halftone is not checked.  I have tried to check the Halftone option there, but it didn't  affect the linked view.

Check halftone settings under manage --> additional settings --> halftone/underlay...
