Linked view spot coordinates display current site, not link instance location

Spot coordinates annotation in linked views shows value of current site in linked file, not coordinate values of the selected location of the link instance (shared coordinates).

I have 1 terrain file with two revit link instances of the same building file, i.e. a campus model. The building file shares coordinates with the terrain file. The building file contains all the annotation, and when presented in the terrain file, the link is displayed by linked view. This works like a charm for all annotation, with the exception of the elevation and the spot coordinates. Their values are for some reason equal to the current site in the linked building file, not according to the selected named site of the link instance. This is counter intuitive, and also I see no point in Revit behaving like this. I guess this is a bug, and that it should be fixed?
