Linked Revit Content not showing up in floor plan views and printing

My office has put considerable time into linking a series of single family residences into a simple site plan.  For some reason the second floor view of these building clusters dissappear almost entirely when we print but there are even problems on the view of both floor plans even before printing.  These same problems don't present this way when the original files to be linked are open. The problem seems to exist on the first floor too in the host file.  It seems like the floor or roof elements associated with the plan are obscuring some of the content but I'm really grasping at straws.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  I'm afraid the forum doesn't allow me to upload the large files we are working on but hopefully these images will help resolve the problem.

I did.  Thank you for the suggestion. I think I solved it.  I was foolishly manipulating the wrong visibility setting.  I needed to adjust the visibility of the surface color of the floors in the LINKED revit files and not the floors in the host file.  My bad.  Thank you for considering the problem.

Regards,

Mike
