Good morning.
My linked CAD file is not showing up at all in any 2D/3D view with view template "None" or any view template. I uncheck/check different options before linking, nothing works.
I have read previous postings related to this issue but I cannot find the solution to this.
I am waiting response from my Topographic surveyor to see what's going on, in the meantime I hope someone here could make any suggestion, please
thanks

Is it a survey? Maybe it's just so far away far away that it cannot be seen? Do you see anything in 3D when you zoom extents? Turn on the Project Base Point/Survey Point.
If you zoom extents and nothing can be seen in the 3D View except the PBP/SP, the CAD is "out there". Window select in space to find it and move it the PBP/SP. If you know the plot coordinates of any part of your building, you can Acquire Coordinates from the CAD and then use Specify Coordinates at Point, pick that part of the building and enter the plot coordinates. This will move the CAD into place.
In the View Template / VG - go to Imported Categories
Make sure that Imports In Families is checked.
Also - when linking the DWG - make sure that the In Current View checkbox is checked. That will allow you to place the DWG in Foreground in the view
check and change ddunits of your autocad file and move your file to insertion points 0,0,0 and see if helps. thanks
