Linked CAD drawings losing hatch fill in Revit

We have several drawings, wall sections especially, that we have imported directly into Revit. The drawings are drawn 99% in Autocad, with only the insulation being drawn in Revit.

Some of the hatch patterns from the Autocad files sometimes do not appear in the drawing when linked. It does not happen 100% of the time, and does not appear to be caused by a setting, as the same hatch appears in other places, nor is it limited to one pattern.

This is causing significant grief with the printed sheets, as the hatch patterns are inconsistent.

We theorized that it could be the number of hatch patterns present in the drawing that was causing the issue, as if Revit simply capped the number of things it would display.

What would be the best solution for this problem, barring exploding the hatch pattern or simply hatching in Revit, neither of which is desirable.
