Link Revit Command

In Revit 2016; I am unable to use the Link Revit tool on the Insert tab. 

Upon selection of tool, it does not open a file explorer to select a revit file.  I have checked to see if the dialog box possibly opened up behind my Revit window, which it has not.

This feature has worked perfectly up until today.

Any suggestions?

Does the ribbon turn grey after you activate the command?

Yes, the ribbon grey's out.  However, the file explorer box that allows me to select a revit file, as shown below, does not open.

If the ribbon is greyed out then the dialog window is open but off screen.  Have your monitor configuration chnaged recently (3 to 2 monitors, or 2-1 monitor, etc.)?

If the window did open off-screen, you can use the following keyboard combinations to move it back onto the active screen:

Alt+space bar

M

Tap once on one of the up/dn/left/right arrows on the keyboard

Finally move the mouse and you should see the window follow the mouse back onto the active screen.

That did the trick, Thank you!!

I typically have a second monitor connected to my laptop.  This issue occured when I was disconnected from the second monitor.  I even attempted to reconnect laptop to a projector to replicate the dual monitor setting, with no success.
