Lineweitgh export from revit to AutoCad

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to set a specific lineweight to the columns connection to the foundation, that show in my foundations blueprint. The problem is I cant see in the export setup how can I change a specific lineweitgh to a specific element... Also I uploaded two pictures that allow you to understand what I want to achieve, one shows the foundations blueprint in AutoCad, and the other one shows the same blueprint, but in revit.

Best regards

Are you talking about the yellow CAD linework? Is it "BYLAYER"?

It doesn't matter. My point is that the CAD elements need to be set to "BYLAYER".  That should resolve your issue. If not, let us know, and we'll go from there.

You can set specific colors and layers "from Revit" in the DWG Export settings all you want.  How it looks in Autocad depends on whether you are using a Plot Style based on the PCP "From Revit" or another plot style.  Colors may be right, but if the plot style isn't then that could be your lineweight problem.

Google for tutorial on how to create CTB or STB from PCP, then create it and save for future use, given you aren't changing Export settings every time.

@barthbradley, in regards to this answer "It doesn't matter. My point is that the CAD elements need to be set to "BYLAYER".  That should resolve your issue. If not, let us know, and we'll go from there. " The option "BYLAYER" is set where, thought this option rigth ("Export category properties Bylayer and overrides by entity"?

Sorry for confusing you @Anonymous.   I misinterpreted your post. I read it backass-backwards and I said "Export" when I meant "Import". That why I posted "nevermind me" after @Anonymous's post.

...FWIW, this what I was referring to:
