For Filled Regions, yes. Edit the Filled region type and change the pattern line weight.
For material surface or cut patterns, No. They are always lineweight 1.

Take it this is for Model patterns applied in materials?

Lineweight 1 controls most model patterns except for Ceiling patterns, that one is controlled by Lineweight 2.  So make the necessary changes in your Line Weights scale settings.

This is why many BIM Managers have setup their standard lineweights starting at #3 instead of #1 so that #1 and #2 can be manipulated and not screw up standardized line types.

@Anonymous is there an easy way of changing the standard?  export/import the line weights?

I am the closest to a BIM manager in the office.

thank you.

Good call on the ceiling material surface pattern lineweight. That is silly the way Revit forces the pattern and the projection lineweights of the ceiling to be the same.

Make the changes in your template for the Line weight scale settings, then your line styles then begin the fun of changing your object styles.

I like to create my line styles with the pen# and plot style name (STB format in Autocad) such as 1_XLT and 4_MED.  Users still get the sense they are using 1-6 lineweights but they are technically using 3-9.  I do have more line styles btw, those are just the standard lines.

You can transfer project standards afterwards to update current projects.
