Linetype generation like AutoCad

Hi, all.

We have a lot of work with lines. When I draw lines with a lot of segments, they often don't recognize patterns.

Is there any way to solve this problem? It's a function that recognizes patterns as a single line and gives them a pattern instead of recognizing patterns for each segment.

It's like the linetype generation of AutoCad.

Is there anything like that?

You mean like short dashed line segments not showing as dashed? There's no Pline with 'Line type Generation' like AutoCAD, so for short lines, you have to use a line type with smaller dashes...

Yeah.

So, you mean I have to deal with different lines for each segment, or give a small dash overall... right?

Probably I don't think it's possible because they're too small segments.

I don't know why Autodesk didn't make this feature.

Thank you. If I got it wrong, please reply  again.

Yes, it would need to be several different line types...

To my surprise, Poly lines are not  exactly mentioned in the Revit Ideas forum. There's this one post for 'ploylines' that has'n gained much attention, so you might post it as idea?

That's good.
But I don't know if they'll listen... I don't think the updates are reflected well.
