Welcome to the community!

Did you use lines, rather than objects (Walls, Doors, Floors, etc.)?

If so, did you use Model Lines (should show in 3D view) or Detail Lines (will not show in 3D view, or any other view, for that matter).

I am trying to use model lines in 3D view and they appear to be created but I cannot see them, and I get the warning that the element i have created is not visible in this view, check view parameters and visibility settings.

I dont get it, I thought model lines ALWAYS show up in 3D view, and I also cannot figure out anywhere there could be a setting to change this.

PLEASE HELP!!1

Thanks

Yeah the warning said it, check the visibility settings of the 3D view and see if Lines category is visible.

The problem is when you are drawing a model line (LI) in 3d, pick a new plane to draw the line. Maybe the current plane is at a level that you cannot see the line.  SET the plane using PICK A PLANE and pick on a surface that is visible in 3D like the top of a cabinet, whatever. Once the new plane is set, draw the model line (LI).   Don't forget to delete it once you're done
