Linear array offset issue

Hello there

I know that I have to lock elements to ref plane to avoid offset in array, but in my case it is not working. I trying to create scaffold staircase and copying several elements at the same time. When i select new type and change parameters value the family begin to crash.

Can some of you give me advise how to approach to creation of family like this to avoid this issue?

Aligning and Locking an Array Copy after Arraying should do the trick.   Post your file. Let's see what's going on with yours.

You have to align & lock the family to reference planes in all the dimensions that will be required to flex. eg. Align in x-dimension, y-dimension, & z-dimension.

That should stop the drift that happens to the families.

File in attached. Revit 21. There are two types of family, just select another one to see the drift.

Thank you for your reply. I've tried to do that, but faced with constrains issue. I'll try to do that little bit later again.
