Line work turns to Grey dashed line instead of Invisible Line

Hi All,

I'm trying to draw detail lines and components in a section detail. I want to hide most of the lines from the wall layers and put on detail components on them. Some of the lines specially the middle layers of walls will turn to dashed grey lines instead of invisible line that I want. How is this happening? Is there a cure?

For now what I do is making a line style on 'White Line' instead of invisible line which works sometimes but it can cover stuff behind it which is not good.

Below you can see before and after I change line works to invisible.

Did you use the Linework tool and choose <Invisible Lines>?

Yes. Outer edges of the walls change to Invisible without problem but middle layers a lot of times just turn to Dashed grey line.

You have to click on the inner lines several times because there more than one lines from the edges of adjacent layers.

Didn't Work.

So I made a sample and attached it here. In this case layers just turn to grey lines.

I see what you are saying.  But you can turn them off via VG (see attached).

the same problem (( invisible lines are grey. Join/switch join does'nt help.

It might be easier to define a new Line Style ans set its color to background color you have there and instead of Invisible, change Line Work to that Linestyle.

this is what I do in most cases.
