Light Fixture doesn't break the grid?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have a 2x4 light fixture that is set into a 2x2 grid ceiling. this fixture doesn't break the grid. I have another 2x4 fixture that does.
I believe that the fixture that doesn't is a standard Revit fixture, while the one that does, i got from Revit City.

how can I modify the fixture famil to break the grid or should I just look for another third party fixture to use?

thanx

IS this a ceiling hosted fixture, or a face-hosted fixture?

In a new blank file I created a 2 x 2 ceiling, and put a default troffer 2 x 4 light in if, and it cut the grid. WEhere did you get the light that you say is not cutting the ceiling? Also is it's height matching that of the ceiling?

Changing the Lighting Plan view's Discipline to "Coordination" will break the grid.

Please let me know if this causes you or the Architect's model any issues.
