Levels - Wrong Elevation Value

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with the elevation value of my levels.

I don't understand well the reason I obtain wrong values from the project base point.

Thank you in advance.

Having not seen how you have set up your project, I'm not sure if it is this.

But it can be caused by setting Project base point Elevation to e.g. -4000

and then using SHARED DATUM for the level marker

when clanged to PROJECT DATUM it shows actual level height

Revit Levels can report their elevation relative either the Project Base Point or the Survey Point.  This option is available from via Type Properties.  Try changing this to see if it shows the values that you are expecting to see.

Is it a Link Level?

...it's got to be.  If not, something bizarre is going on, because no matter which Elevation Base that zero Level is set to, both the Survey Point and Project Base Point are obviously below that zero Level.

I don't know how but I did right click on the Project Base Point and MOVE TO STARTUP LOCATION. That works!

Then that's a Link level like I was saying.  There's no other explanation.  Tell me I'm wrong.

HA!  My brain is seriously sparking over this one, @Anonymous.  So you unclipped the PBP (which is sitting on top of the Survey Point), right-clicked on it and selected Move to Startup Location. When you did this, the PBP moved and the Level's Elevation DID NOT change???

if you post a .rvt file, we can see what's going on.

Also, since we're talking about levels and PBP's and SP's.... https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-ideas/level-spot-elevation-that-can-read-both-project-base-poin...
