Levels not showing in Elevation

Hi,
I have inherited some Revit files, all of which have a ground floor and ceiling plan (hence an associated level).
The levels do not show the in elevations (or sections for that matter). It is not a view setting, I have checked this, nor are they hidden by category or element. I have added new levels and these are visible. The levels exist, I just cannot view them or select them.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Dane,

I had this issue when working off a template with a different massing and elevation, it threw the levels off.

Revit seems to crop the levels in 2D space depending on your view settings.

-To fix this I had to go to the 3D view and locate and move each level line closer to the object. In turn, each level line showed up on every view as it should.

In addition to this topic:

If levels ar in a scope box in a linked file, they will not be show in a section in your project. I had to copy(/monitor) them from a 3d view, and then set the scope box to none.

I tried all of the above and nothing worked.  What finally worked for me was:

  1. Create an element (or find and existing element) on a level that isn't displayed.
  2.  Select Modify/Edit Work Plane.
  3. In the dialog box that pops up, click the "Show" button.

After I did that, all of the "missing" levels suddenly appeared.Show levels.JPG
