@IbrahimNaeem I'm trying to understand your solution as I was looking at this last night and hit a brick wall but this looks interesting.

the only problem is the Level.Elevation node is failing for the rooms giving this error;

Warning: Internal error, please report: Dereferencing a non-pointer. (3f47aacd)

Is this script running successfully with you?

@Keith_Wilkinson This is due to null data or not valid data. Try to use the shown nodes in pic 2 for avoiding this problem and eleminating null values.

@Keith_Wilkinson @EnricoG Please use the attached workspace instead of the previous one. The attached workspace would require you to move the number slider one step by floor, will be a kind of fun to slide in the automatic mode.

Note: Start the number slider from zero to cover all the levels

Enrico, The red node means that you don't have that node because this is a custom node I created to acheive my goal - sorry guys, I thought custome nodes would be automatically transfered with the workspace. Now, I have published it into the Dynamo repository and you can download as a package . search packages for (List to List Test) as shown below.  for the yellow colored node, I think it goes back to the dynamo version, I'm using dynamo 0.8- the most stable version I tested. Also check if there are rooms in your project and check for the parameter names.

Having further inquires, don't hesitate to bring them here!

Thanks, Ibrahem Naeem list to list test.PNG

Guys have you got the problem solved? I have recently solved another problem that's the HVAC Engineer wanted the Mechanical Equipment to inherit the Space room and Number so if you would like to share with you as well to give an idea of how this kinda problems can be solved.

Thanks, Ibrahim Naeem
