Hi All,

Im trying to create a schedule with structural framing, structural column & generic models in. I don't have the option for the cut lengths or lengths parameters. Any ideas how i get these on? Need to calculate lengths of timber & cost for alot of jobs going forward and cant work out if Revit will do this for me. Thanks

What do you mean? Structural Framing has both Length and Cut Length.

You can get there, but it would require planning and setup and shared parameters and whatnot.

thought as much. Is there any way of getting structural framing and columns on the same one with length parameters?

Yes but you will need to add a shared parameter to each of those families.

You can add shared parameter to each family and use formula =Length to get the value of built-in Length parameter. Then add the shared parameter to the multicategory schedule.

Another way is to create parts from different categories and schedule parts.
