Large bounding box in arrayed family.

I created an array using a nested family, worked ok but the label showing the number of objects in the array is displaced and there is a large bounding box.  The image attached explains more clearly I hope:

I have had a look at the family file of the component I am trying to "array" but can't see any objects that might be dragging the limits out to this extent. Any suggestions on what could be the cause? Thanks.

how are those blade elements created? Is it made using a sweep and a profile? Check the profile to make sure there are no ref planes drawn in the profile sketch off in the distance. The same can be said if it is an extrusion. Make sure there are no ref planes in the extrusion sketch.

In the family there is an array and it is going haywire ... how to fix would be hard to tell without the family

Thanks for the replies. The family was created from a sweep. I couldn't find the problem and ended up recreating the family from one that was working. This fixed the issue.
