Labels for 3D

Hi,

I am currently trying to figure out how to apply labels to the 3D model I have created. I am aware of how to do it to 2D but that is not what I require.

I have shown the building materials of interest through changing their exterior material colours. I want to be able to label parts of my building eg. roof, downpipes or rooms as containing asbestos. Am I also able to spin the model with the labels continuously shown?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

C.

If you lock the 3d view then you can annotate it with text notes. When you unlock it and orbit, the text notes stay but they are most likely out if place. I don't think tags will work for 3d view at all. Another true 3d option is using 3d text and manually enter the information.

Lock and name a 3D view. You can then apply tags in that view. Is that what you're looking to do?

I've had some success with text notes at this point. Is there any way that the text notes can be made larger or stay the same font size when I zoom in and out of the model?

2D annotations will scale.

Make the view scale smaller and the text notes will be  larger.  Not sure how they will work when you Zoom in and out but give it a try.

Here's what I mean by using 3D text.
