Label Nested Families

Hi.

I'm trying to add a label to a sofa nested family, with the legs being the nested elements. The problem here is that the first nested family (Leg 1) is composed by only one leg that I after multiplying (4 in total) and lock in the right positions, while the second nested family (Leg2), despite also being one leg, it occupies the space of two of the first nested family legs (Image 1). As a result, when changing the label options the first 4 legs are replaced by 4 legs from the second nested family (Image 2).

What is the best way to do this? Even if I divide the second nested family I will have a problem with the leg orientation.

Thank You.

I do not know of best options. But one possibility would be to make use of visbility parameters instead of familytype parameters. Depending on the chosen type set the visibility of the four legs or of the two legs

Family Type parameters (Labels) shine when you have more than two options.  If only have two then a Visibility parameter is a simpler solution.

With that said, you can still use the Family parameter for choosing leg designs, but you need to nest two legs into another family, then nest that family into the sofa so that it is compatible with the U leg.
