Make a Slab Edge profile and Load it in the project. Then create a Slab Edge on the edge of your Floor.

Join and Cut where necessary.

Slab Edge Profiles would be the quickest and simplest method and recommend using the advice already given and creating a new profile for the shape you want.

It looks like you have tried to do it using other elements, if this is the method you are familiar with you could simply use a Wall and another Floor/Slab/Footing element?

You can use the Attach Top/Bottom Tools to lock the Wall to the Floors

Hi @anze.kumar

I've done that already, created Slab edger

kristianbrangoDUGBB_1-1696322929054.png

Loaded in to the project and applied to floor with tool.

This is how the floor is constructed

Ok, the thing is, I don't understand what are you really trying to achieve.. to have the bottom of the Slab Edge within the Floor or have Slab edge beneath the floor?

You could try to adjust the "Vertical" or "Horizonta" Profile Offset to modify the position of the Slab Edge.

OK @anze.kumar

This is what I want, but here there is seperated object/building parts.

I would like to achive the same but with floor compound containing isolation and concrete.

It seems that you cannot use CUT between slab edge and floor structure in the image from previous post.

I guess you're right about cutting.

You could split the compound floor into more floors and apply the Slab edge to the top floor.. but I guess that's quite a bit of more additional manual work.

Otherwise you could use Sweep tool on the edge of the floor, but again, that is a Model in Place category which is a different approach.

Hi,

so this means that it is not possible to create a floor structure compound because it is not possible to use edge elements with the profile U or L.

If that's the case, I think it's scary that Revit (Autodesk) doesn't solve this issue.

If the picture is what you want then you don't need the L slab edge.

You could try a workaround like already suggested and model different tyoes of Floors and a Wall directly under the opening (i presume that is a door above the floor)
