Kitchen appliance tags show in unapropriate places

Does anyone know how I can stop these tags not show in inappropriate places?

I really don't want them showing in the roof view

Actually, Cased openings show in places like foundation, which I find annoying.

"Tags" are view specific. they should only be showing in the view they are placed in. what kind of Tag are you placing?

They are "out of the box" descriptions

For casework you want to select the symbolic line and click on show only if instance is cut. This will make those symbolic line not to show on foundation plan.

I may not be understanding what you mean by "Appliance Tags".

1. the Kitchen appliances (equipment?) are placed in the floor plan
2. In the floor plan the appliances are tagged using the Annotate ribbon > "Tag by Category"/"Tag All" tool
3. The tags are showing in the plan and in other views?

Apparently it is not considered a tag.

I did not tag the Refrigerator the dishwasher, the washer or the dryer.

They are already labeled when I place them.

But they show in other views like the roof plan.

I wish they would not show in other views except the floor plan.

Those are generic annotation embedded into the family. Easiest way to hide them is to go to visibility & Graphics>Annotation and turn off Generic annotation.

Sadly this will turn off all other generic annotation.

One way I turn off the generic annotation within the fixture is to select the generic annotation within the family and change the visibility to only show for course and medium

In the project, all I have to do is set the model family display to fine and it will automatically hide generic annotation

Have you tried adjusting the visibility settings of the tags and openings in your software? You may be able to hide them in certain views or adjust their appearance. If not, contacting the software's support team or consulting with a professional, i actually did the same for my sarasota appliance repair.
