Keyboard Shortcut for Snap Overrides

Revit 2022.1 now has a snap override so we can snap to the midpoint between two points (awesome!).

Now please give us the ability to add a keyboard shortcut to access this function. Not really sure why there should be any command we can't assign a keyboard shortcut to.

It seems like with the 2022.1 update, Autodesk focused on making the work flow more efficient for us. Now let us turn fast into superfast!

These don't work for you?

@ToanDN, thanks for the response.

Those do work for me but that is not what I am looking for. Specifically I would like a keyboard shortcut for "Snap mid between 2 points" which is a new feature touted by Autodesk with Revit 2022.1.

@Darin_HDR , the shortcuts are assigned in the keyboard shortcuts menu. ('KS' or View>User Interface>Keyboard Shortcuts).

Default is 'S2' but you can add another or change to something more suitable to yourself if desired.

@add_oz , yes...yes that is exactly what I am looking for. Not sure why I didn't find it when I looked the first time. Thank you and sorry to waste everyone's time for something I should have been able to find myself. Your efforts to babysit me are appreciated. 😉

Oh, I know why I didn't find it, because I searched Midpoint. Not sure why Autodesk decided to abbreviate midpoint to mid. Is this the first time Autodesk has abbreviated something within Revit? Seems very atypical, and as we see, causes issues with users knowing how to find stuff.

@Darin_HDR , I'm going to move this over to the forums so you can mark the solution. Thank you, @add_oz !

Wonderful if it is there. The ITech person said he transferred the license I was using to the new (to me) machine.  S2  is not there.  Is there a "Fix" or did Autodesk remove it?
