Key Note Scheduling - Filter notes by level or sheet

Hi there,

I have a project that has multiple levels. The key note family and schedule is working a treat however, I really need to cull my notes by sheet but keep the view type;

View Type - RCP

Ground Floor - only to show RCP notes on GF level: for example notes; 1-8,22,58,60  - not all levels

Master Schedule - able to view RCP notes from 1-60 across all levels

I recently reviewed some drawings from another architectural firm, and I have seen they have done exactly what I want to achieve, see below

You can use symbols and schedule them using noteblock

When you place the symbols at plan/section/elevation, the schedule will automatically fill up. Also you can set them filter them out based on RCP, Elevation, plan and etc. It is quite flexible.

Thanks for the reply. I still do not know how to filter out per view/sheet.

I have easily created my filter per view type - but I want to only see the numbers and notes for that level / sheet only

If you want to keep it to the keynote base on sheet, then you have to check on this setting when you create Keynote Legend.

Thanks, although my keynote is not an element keynote; can I not apply that filter to this schedule?

Really depends what you use to create the note. Are you using schedule key or something else? Keynote legend is the only one that I know can filter per sheet view like what you are asking. The other scheduling method you have to manually filter them out.

@Anonymous,

I wanted to reach out and see if the suggestions provided by @syman2000  solve the issue you were having. It looks like ‌the other scheduling methods you mentioned have to be filtered out manually filter, so for now I am going to mark this as "Solved". This won't prevent other members from commenting on this question though in the event other ideas come up!

Let us know how things are going!
