Join components of modular family

I loaded three other module families into the selected family. Is there a way to "explode" and join them?

Change the category to Generic Models and just use Join Geometry to join them together.

Explode? Define what you mean by "module families".  CAD imports?

This works in the family but not when loaded in the project.

Sounds like you have configurations that require a different arrangement of components. Doesn't sound "explode" or "Join" related at all.  Sounds like one heck of a parametric family though. Maybe too many parameters. Why don't leave the components as separate families and let the user load them individually and arrange them in the Project environment how they want?
