Yesterday morning I discovered that when I clicked on a wall. text or anything that element would jump up on the screen.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks

David

David,

Ive noticed this on on ocasion when the extents of your model has be exceeded. error.JPG

Check that your not getting this error, and also that your Project base point isnt too far away from the centre of your project.

Hi David,

This type of issue is usualy realted to graphic cards.

Here are some things to try:

1. Update your graphic card

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert?siteID=123112&id=18844534

2. Make sure you have the latest update for Revit

3. Turn off Hardware Accelaration - Go to the big "R" on the top left>Options>Graphics

4. Use Revit on the primary monitor , if you are using dual monitor.

Hope that helps!

The easy fix for this issue is to un-tick the press and drag tick box down the very bottom right of the application screen. You will still get a flicker but the selected objects will not move. After un-ticking this box when you want to drag something you need to click to select then click and drag.
